Monday, January 2, 2012 at 2:04PM Novato, California (January 3, 2012) – Success With People has announced the winners of its 2011 Best Tech Workplaces survey.
“We are very pleased to announce the Best Tech Workplaces winners for our 2011 survey,” announced David Russell, CEO of Success With People. “The first place winner is down under, Leap Consulting of Western Australia. They edged out Data Network Group of Boulder, Colorado. Both of these companies were certified 2010 Best Tech Workplaces. Our third place company, Stemp Systems Group of Long Island City, New York, significantly improved their 2010 scores to become certified for the first time.”
This is the second annual Best Tech Workplaces competition. This is a best place to work-type of survey is limited to technology solution providers worldwide. It will return again in 2012, but in a format that enables companies to assess employee engagement monthly. More details will be available in the first quarter of next year.
In some ways you have to love the Australian winner’s gauntlet toss to other participants. Zaun Bhana, Operations Director of Leap Consulting, the 2011 winning Best Tech Workplace challenged his peers in fun rather than pride when asked why they won.
“There is only one thing we love more than beating our American mates in a friendly competition and that’s doing it twice! We are pleased to improve our score this year in the Best Tech Workplaces survey and plan to compete again in 2012. Don’t think we will rest on our laurels. We already have a number of initiatives underway to further engage our people so they love us and our clients even more. To our IT solution provider friends and peers worldwide, we say, ‘Come and try to catch us in the 2012 Best Tech Workplaces survey! The more companies participating, the better."
Second place is Data Network Group, a computer consulting firm that provides outsourced IT solutions to businesses along the Front Range of Colorado. “We were very excited to be recognized as a Best Tech Workplace again this year,” said Michael Perkins, President of Data Network Group. “The computer support industry can be very stressful. Two of the reasons we consistently score so high and continue to hire great people are our fun, relaxed atmosphere, and that we provide better benefits than many other firms. Our employees are and will always be our most important asset.
Morris Stemp of Stemp Systems Group is very pleased with the growth in their company culture. “Our selection as a Best Tech Workplace shows that our staff appreciates how they benefit from our core values which encourage them to grow, collaborate, have a passion for challenge, be genius, and even to be a bit W@CKi. This survey confirms that our employees value our long term relationships with our clients as well as the efforts that we make to motivate and reward them, and that the members of our staff really do enjoy working for Stemp!”
